Residential rehab is a structured level of care where you live on-site while receiving treatment for substance use and related challenges. It gives you time away from everyday triggers so you can focus on healing in a safe, supportive environment.
Residential treatment may be a good fit if alcohol or drug use has started to affect your health, relationships, safety, or ability to function day to day. It can also help when you need more support than outpatient care can provide, especially if you are also dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health concerns. Yonder Behavioral Health treats co-occurring mental health conditions alongside substance use as part of its dual diagnosis approach.
While Yonder BH is substance use disorder primary, treatment can also support mental health through dual diagnosis care. That means your team can address addiction alongside co-occurring emotional and mental health symptoms that may be affecting recovery.
Residential rehab often includes a mix of evidence-based and whole-person therapies to support lasting recovery. At Yonder BH, services include options such as CBT, DBT, individual therapy, family therapy, and holistic approaches, with medication-assisted treatment also available when clinically appropriate.
For many people, getting care in a quieter, more rural setting can create space to step back from daily stress and focus fully on recovery. A setting like Berea can feel more grounded, private, and removed from the people, places, and routines that may be tied to substance use, while still keeping you connected to treatment and support close to home in Kentucky.
